Limepark Wedding

There’s something special about October in Ireland—the crisp autumn air, trees ablaze with red, orange, and gold, and sitting down to a creamy Guinness by a roaring fire. Add to that the warm glow of candlelit, pumpkin-styled tablescapes and twinkling fairy lights, and you have a postcard-perfect setting. Now, throw in 80 buzzing guests, an ABBA-loving MC named Trevor, and a happy couple—and you get Caitlin and Lewis’ unforgettable wedding day at Limepark!

True to Caitlin’s love of all things black, she had her bridesmaids in black dresses and a striking black wedding cake embellished with the words “Til Death” – a bold and beautiful touch that was—quite literally—the icing on the cake. It was especially fitting that Caitlin and Lewis chose to marry on Samhain (Hallowe'en), the ancient Celtic festival marking the transition from harvest to winter.

Located just a 15 minute drive from North Antrim's iconic Causeway Coast and Glens, Limepark, a rural 18th century estate, set the scene for this couple's wedding celebrations. With quaint stone cottages, rustic, airy interiors, tranquil gardens dotted with trees, and a rich history as a thriving farmstead, the estate provided an intimate and atmospheric backdrop for their wedding day.

CAITLIN'S MORNING

Caitlin enjoyed a relaxed morning getting ready with her bridesmaids and close family in the Manor House—a beautifully spacious building with a unique layout, rooms of natural light, and a warm, rustic charm—every wedding photographer’s dream! As hair and makeup were in full swing, they popped a bottle of bubbly and indulged in chocolate-covered strawberries.

When it was time to get dressed, her bridal team helped her into her effortlessly elegant Sassi Holford gown—a breathtakingly weightless design with long sleeves, an open back, and a seductive plunging neckline. Her whimsical dress was the epitome of modern romance, the perfect balance of timeless sophistication and a contemporary edge.

LEWIS' MORNING

A few doors up from Caitlin, tucked away in the muted gothic interiors of Ned's Loft, Lewis and his groomsmen prepared for the day ahead. Before heading into The Gallery for the ceremony, they cheersed over a Guinness.

The Ceremony

With 85 guests, warmed by a roaring fire, gathered in The Gallery, Caitlin’s bridesmaids gracefully paved the way for her entrance as she walked arm in arm with her proud father. As Mollie McKeever’s serene voice and delicate acoustics filled the room, Lewis looked on, his smile laced with emotion.

Registrar Sam Young officiated their ceremony, guiding them into their vow exchange and congratulating them with a smile as they shared their first kiss and signed the registry.

The Reception

Afterwards, the couple and their wedding guests made the most of the estate's stunning grounds for group and couple photos. With its charming gardens, ancient trees, and quaint alcoves along the stone pathways, Limepark provides endless picturesque backdrops—perfect for capturing the magic of a rustic wedding day in Ireland.

As evening fell, the celebration moved to the old stone barn, where pumpkins and candles adorned the tables, and fairy lights draped from the rafters like bunting. The warm, rustic setting created an inviting atmosphere, setting the stage for a night filled with laughter, dancing, and unforgettable memories.

The newlyweds and their guests were treated to a mix of heartfelt and hilarious speeches before tucking into the evening meal. Then, in true showman style, MC, Trevor (The Service Quarter) cranked up the energy, getting everyone on their feet to belt out a few ABBA hits. Keeping the momentum going, he rallied the guests into the stone alleyway, where they lit up the night with a sparkler tunnel, sending Caitlin and Lewis through a glowing path of cheers and celebration.

As the party kicked into full swing, Caitlin made a quick outfit change, swapping her gown for a flowy halter-neck dress—perfect for a night of non-stop dancing. With The Reilly’s band bringing the tunes, the dance floor stayed packed, and the celebrations carried on well into the early hours.

Limepark was the perfect backdrop for Caitlin and Lewis to celebrate their wedding day in a way that felt true to them—effortless, elegant, and brimming with laughter, love, and heartfelt moments. From its enchanting stone buildings and beautiful gardens to its welcoming staff and magical evening atmosphere, every detail came together to create a truly unforgettable wedding.
